Protecode Incorporated is a privately held company established in 2006. Protecode is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, with R&D and data operations in Canada. Protecode offers its products and services throughout the world through a network of partners in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

What We Do

Protecode provides products and services for detecting and managing open source and other third party content in a code portfolio. Protecode solutions facilitate the managed adoption of open source software, and help reduce development costs, improve software quality, identify security vulnerabilities, and remove licensing uncertainties. Protecode products help organizations implement a structured open source software adoption process.

How Protecode is Different

Protecode is a vertically-integrated solutions company. We focus on policy-driven deep-scanning code analysis, detecting licensing and copyright obligations associated with all or part of software, and managing any violations of software policy.
